Megaworld’s GERI to build second resort condominium at Twin Lakes
October 27, 2016
Megaworld’s Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI) unveils a unique home option in Tagaytay, where one can fully grasp the exclusive life of the Swiss countryside. This exclusive enclave, called the Manor, is the latest residential development at the 1,200-hectare Twin Lakes.
The Manor will have the design inspiration culled from the famous chalets in the Swiss Alps, with the residential development being nestled at the mountainous landscape of Twin Lakes in Tagaytay.
The 12-storey three-clustered residential development will have limited units of about 129 and each floor will have an exclusive 14 units per floor that range from 27 sqm to 55 sqm, adding more privacy and security to its future residents.
The chalet-inspired home will also feature a prominent balcony in each unit, which opens to the lavish nature outside including the refreshing view of the famous Taal Lake.
“Residents will have an ultimate European experience of living at the Manor. Everyone can enjoy the cool breeze of Tagaytay while enjoying the naturally serene backdrop of the township. They will have a wonderful time relaxing with nature as they settle in the development’s comforts,” says Glennford Heraldo, VP for sales and marketing of Twin Lakes, GERI.
Aside from the township’s leisure and recreational amenities, future residents and guests will also have two exclusive amenity decks, which include a swimming pool with lounge and spa, a function hall, a business center, a fitness center, a game room, as well as outdoor amenities and a children’s play area.
Located within the Twin Lake’s The Vineyard, a 1.3-hectare residential phase of the township, unit owners at the Manor will also be given the modish privilege to be located alongside the very first vineyard in the Philippines. The 10-hectare vineyard is a stunning landscape of tidy rows of grape-dotted vines that banter unpredictably with the changing seasons, a setting that mirrors the world’s renowned vineyards in Tuscany and Napa Valley.
“Within the comfort of a Swiss-inspired home, the Manor will exude the rustic charm of a European living, wherein residents can have a picturesque life in the cold countryside,” he said.
The Vineyard will be overseen by Filipino farmer-scientist Avelino Lomboy. Meanwhile, Spanish consultants will be on top of aging brandies and wines made from the grapes produced at The Vineyard. The products will then be stored and showcased in a traditional wine chateau. Named the Chateau Winery, the French-inspired cellar will be located next to Twin Lake’s beautiful man-made lake.
Twin Lakes is Tagaytay’s largest and most complete tourism estate with expansive nature spaces linked by residential villas, condominiums, townhouses, hotel and resort, commercial and retail hubs, and leisure facilities.
It was reported recently that Megaworld’s GERI posted a net income of P465-million in the first half of 2016, up 37% from P339-million during the same period the previous year.
Consolidated revenues for the first six months of 2016 amounted to P2.86-billion, a growth of 36% from P2.11-billion during the first half of 2015. The key driver of the GERI is still its residential arm, which account for close to 75% of total revenues.
The strong residential sales has attributed particularly in Boracay Newcoast in Aklan, Sta. Barbara Heights in Iloilo, Twin Lakes in Tagaytay, Southwoods City in Cavite-Laguna and Alabang West in Las Pinas City.
Aside from Twin Lakes, GERI has four other townships across the country: Boracay Newcoast in Boracay Island, Aklan (150 hectares); Southwoods City on the boundaries of Carmona, Cavite, and Biñan, Laguna (561 hectares); Sta. Barbara Heights in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo (173 hectares); and Alabang West (62 hectares).
Megaworld currently owns 82.3-percent of GERI and it has taken an aggressive role in transforming GERI’s vast land bank into integrated urban townships, the concept that Megaworld pioneered in the Philippines.
