The company’s first upscale residential village in Cavite rakes in P3-billion in sales only 7 months after launch
Megaworld’s first upscale residential village in Trece Martires, Cavite was sold out last month amid the nationwide community quarantine.
The 18-hectare Arden Botanical Village raked in P3-billion in sales, just almost seven months since its launch inside the 251-hectare Arden Botanical Estate. Sales peaked during the second quarter at almost P1.4-billion covering 133 lots.
Moreover, two price increases implemented in January and May this year further pushed more take-ups from both international and local property buyers searching for residential lots near Metro Manila. From P23,000 per square meter in December last year, lot prices in the village soared to P31,000 per square meter in May this year, or 35% increase in less than a year.
“Amid the lockdown, we have booked sales from buyers in the Philippines and across the world who were looking for purposeful, more livable spaces to build a house. Arden Botanical Village’s concept gave us a convenient push, and the unique concept of Arden Botanical Estate as an integrated lifestyle community was a huge factor in selling this fast even amidst the pandemic,” says Eugene Em Lozano, first vice president for sales and marketing, Megaworld.
Thoughtfully designed by renowned Filipino landscape architect and environmental planner Paulo Alcazaren, the exclusively gated, Scandinavian-inspired Arden Botanical Village, which offers 329 lots, will be highlighted by the Centrera Park, which is surrounded by natural groves of centuries-old trees, natural waterways and ponds, sprawling lush greeneries, expansive open spaces, promenades and parks, and jogging paths.
The village’s Clubhouse will also be part of the Centrera Park, with some carefully curated amenities for the exclusive use of the residents and their guests. A natural swimming pool will be part of the amenities and village landscape, a trend that has gained popularity in European neighborhoods.
“A P7-million lot bought when we started selling late last year can now be sold at almost P9.5-million. Our early takers are so happy with their investments today,” adds Lozano.
Turnover of lots in Arden Botanical Village is scheduled to start in 2024.
Known to be a ‘sustainable’ estate, Arden Botanical Estate is a joint development of Megaworld and its subsidiary brand Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI). Both companies are spending P18-billion to build the integrated lifestyle community in the next 10 years that will be highlighted by flower farms and gardens.
The development is just 1.5 hours away from Makati’s Central Business District, and just an hour away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
